John Fredrik Kristiansen
Gearslutz is a very nice resource if you're looking for all around information, esp. if you're interested in electronics and theory. Like any place, it has bad seeds, but good sound engineers frequent there. And by that, I mean better than most sound engineers doing work for film. It also has some film discussion, but for that specifically, I guess the other suggestions might be better.
Nathan Rosenquist
Social Sound Design is a good resource. The design of the site is a question and answer format, where the best answers are voted up to the top.
