SDX 900 Head Wear

Hey anybody out there had to change heads on their SDX 900? I am curious what the average amount of hours before the heads need changing. I own a 400A Beta Sp cam and they would last anywhere from 900-1400 hours of drum running, curious how the 900 compares. Looking at buying a used 900 so any info on this would be helpful.

For the most part about 2000 hours is about the shortest I have seen. Certainly others have lastest much longer. The primary difference in the tape tension in the DVCPRO50 cameras is about a 1/4 of that in Beta SP cameras. Makes a big difference.
