Scott Imler
Hey anybody out there had to change heads on their SDX 900? I am curious what the average amount of hours before the heads need changing. I own a 400A Beta Sp cam and they would last anywhere from 900-1400 hours of drum running, curious how the 900 compares. Looking at buying a used 900 so any info on this would be helpful. Thanks in advance

Certainly others have lastest much longer. The primary difference in the tape tension in the DVCPRO50 cameras is about a 1/4 of that in Beta SP cameras. Makes a big difference. Hope that helps, Jan
