Adam Jeppesen
Does anyone have feedback on the Sony or Century wide angle converter. Does the Century .6 WA fit any mattbox? Thanks for any info!
Premium Member Elhanan Matos Posted February 9, 2005 Premium Member Share Posted February 9, 2005 I have used the Sony HDV camera with the Sony wide angle adapter with a few matteboxes, and most of the chrosziel matteboxes I have used had some vignetting issues. There is one chrosziel mattebox that does work, but I can't remember off the top of my head. You can try calling 16x9 inc. They will be able to help you out... www.16x9inc.com
TJ Williams
Might also try the Petroff matte box superwide version very nice and somewhat cheaper than the Chroszeil in the US since the dollar is so soft against the German money. try: http://www.petroff.ws/contact.htm
Shawn Sutherland
Speaking of Matte Boxes.....You guys seem to know a thing or two about them, so...I own the NEX-FS100, a Tokina 11-16mm f/2.8 lens, and a Genus 77mm ND filter:Tokina 11-16mm f/2.8 lens: http://vistek.ca/store/CameraLenses/...for-nikon.aspxGenus 77mm ND filter: http://vistek.ca/store/CameraFilters...-nd-fader.aspxOK here's what I need help with:I need a matte box that works with this lens/filter combination, doesn't vignette with the Tokina at 11mm on my NEX-FS100, but still allows access to the ND filter ring.I might be asking for too much here, but I'll ask anyway just on the off chance that somebody actually got this working on their camera. Shawn Sutherland
OK, let me try a simpler question:Is there a matte box that works with the Tokina 11-16mm f/2.8 lens? No filters or f@*#k-All, just the lens.As in this one: Tokina 11-16mm f/2.8 lens: http://vistek.ca/sto....for-nikon.aspx??????
