james carty
Hello, I Recently purchased a second hand Eumig Mark8 projector. It seemed to be working fine except that the picture was jumping.Alternating between normal & super 8 involves changing the sprocket & gate mechanisms as I'm sure you know.I changed the existing grey setup which was already in place, for the black set but with no luck.I then read on another forum that when changing the sprocket set, to make sure that the 'inching knob' was set with the red dot set at 12 o'clock, (which I hadn't done).I then ran the projector with no sprocket set in place.(which I think has caused the problem I am now having), set the knob to 12, then replaced the super 8 grey sprocket. It seems now as if the timing between the sprocket system & the fan like exposure disc are now out of sync. Can anyone assist or advise please?
