Sutro Baths - San Francisco

Thanks for that Andy! I used to frolic around there in the mid 80's; really brings back memories....We used to take shrooms and climb up in the canopies of the Cypress trees up on the bluff with "Dead Can Dance" or some other nonsense blaring on the portable cassette player "walkman" that were all the rage then. If you pick the right ones, you can actually lay up in those trees like a bed! There used to be a wonderful mechanical toy museum at the top with a camera obscura that was beautiful. It was a dark room you walked into with a huge white convex dish you would look down into that would be reflecting the outside view from this periscope above in the roof... quite magical. I don't think it is still there is it? Well it is great to see that folks still know how to enjoy themselves. It is funny, I thought I was king s**t with a new Nizo Integral 7 camera at the time and now over 25 years later I use wind up cameras from the 50s and 60s....go figure.

take care,

Paul
