Guest Steadicam Forum
Hi folks, Just wanted to show a couple of parts that were made for me very quickly and have solved problems. They were made by Jerry Kosan at http://www.jbkcinequipt.com/ First is a Delrin disc that installs under the top stage, helps keep the excess cable tidy from your gimbal mounted zoom and/or hard wire focus control. Sells them for $50, Just tell him the diameter of your post and he'll make you one right up. He puts two small allen screws on opposite sides and if you tell him the diameter of your zoom control cable, he'll cut a key way on two ends so the cable pops in and is lightly held. Second... When I Attached the ZOE Zoom control on the XCS Gimbal, the rocker switch was so close to the soft rubbery cover on the gimbal that sometimes the rocker would get stuck and wouldn't stop zooming in or out, CATASTROPHE for the shot!. I needed to have it spaced out, So this little beauty was made. The production run will be black anodized of course. $50 untitled.bmp (576.05K) Number of downloads: 2 View or reply to the original post at SteadicamForum.com
