Paolo Bonello Posted March 11, 2011 Share Posted March 11, 2011 Hello all, First time post. I am quite a novice in the world of cinema. I collect and use mainly rangefinder cameras from the 60's but I now find myself quite interested in movie cameras from the fifties and sixties although I freely admit, my knowledge is very limited. Wondering if someone could help me to identify which Bolex range or specific camera this bag was meant to house? I aquired it through luck or fate and now I find myself wanting to fill it. Strange, I know but I know myself well and it was clear to me upon receiving the bag that at some stage I'd want to find the camera it belonged to. I have seen something similar for the B8L but the partitions inside this bag are a lot different to that one I had seen. Any help would be much appreciated. Mike Lary Posted March 11, 2011 Share Posted March 11, 2011 That looks exactly like the case that came with one of my Bolex H16's (a Rex0). If it's the same case it should fit any of the older Bolex H16s or H8s. The camera goes in with the lens facing toward the handle, so the weight of the body is at the bottom of the case when it's upright. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
