bolex 400' magazine for s16

I am going to convert a EBM to S16,do i need convert the magazine too or the magazine can run s16 up without do anything,because i know the aaton LTR dont need any convertion on mag also could run s16 perfectly.

It shouldn't need any conversion, I believe.

Some LTR mags might have to be modify to properly shoot S16

The thing is not about running the film through the mag

The issue is more about scratching

The mag might be scratching an area that wasn't use in R16

But in S16 will be use so you might have to adjust some gears...

 

Basically I recommend shoot a test and then see...

If you're getting a huge consistent scratch when projected

You'll have to modify the magazine

If not you're in the clear.
