choosing film stock

Hi,

I'm working with film 2nd time now as a DP for a short film in my university. The film is set all in night interiors. It's about a woman who keeps moving her living room furniture. I would like the photography to pass some quiet desperation, it's a slow film that not much happens. I was thinking of going with fuji, because of it's 'painterly feel', but not sure yet. The other film I went with kodak and I was very pleased with the result, but it's a really different kind of movie. I'm looking for a soft and clear image, kind of bluish, with a bit of grain on it (not much). A influence for the photography is the film Jeanne Dielman, by Chantal Akerman.

As I'm new with film, I decided to come here and ask you guys that have more experience with this. Any ideas about film stock? What about fuji eterna 400T or 500T?

Thanks a lot,
