Footage for Flash Animation

I'm not sure if I'm on the right forum for this question. It's kind of a cross-over question.

 

I have an upcoming job to shoot an animated clip for a website splash page. I want it to look like film so I want to originate on 16mm. I believe the web-guru's will end up in flash files.

 

My question is:

What should I tranfer to from the negative so that I have a file that can be dealt with by the web jockeys?

 

I generally just hand over the footage and the client takes it from there. This time I've got to wrangle it down to the final flash file myself. Anybody have any wisdom on this?

 

I appreciate any input on this matter.
