Cameron Schmucker Posted March 24, 2011 Posted March 24, 2011 This book is one I wish I could assign to directors before I start a project with them. I learned from this book as a cinematographer, and it's a great read all around. I have always felt the moss taboo part of the filmmaking process is the relationship the director and the cinematographer have from preproduction until it's done and moved on. The working relationship is different with every production and from this book I've learned if nothing else, that there is no correct way to collaborate! Chris Warren Posted March 25, 2011 Posted March 25, 2011 The author was my professor. She is a very knowledgeable teacher and cinematographer. I too recommend this book to directors and cinematographers alike. 1
