Guest Steadicam Forum Posted May 13, 2011 Share Posted May 13, 2011 This is an adapted top off a Gorilla stand that I bought from Arri Manchester about two years ago, (depsite the Panavision engraving!). Rather than use the brass captured spigot off the side- I had an wider aluminium spigot machined down at the end, (off a 2k as it happens) so my Hill docking bracket would be mounted over the centre of the post as opposed to being offset, (safe but looked scary). Dimension of the new spigot is 15mm and is a perfect fit for any Tiffen or Hill docking bracket. The other end of the cap is the standard 30mm lighting stand diameter.
