Ian Cooper Posted July 5, 2011 Share Posted July 5, 2011 I don't have first hand experience of the 16BL, but I do know it has a mirror shutter - if that has stopped in the 'open' position then you won't be able to see anything through the viewfinder (light will be shining on the film gate and not diverted to the v'finder). Try turning the 'inching' knob to rotate the shutter to see if suddenly you get a view through the lens.
