Try the forums at www.dv.com. Jay Rose (a very respected and well known audio guru) will answer questions personally. It's an amazing resource. Also, try the audio forum at www.dvinfo.com. Douglas Spotted Eagle, a grammy-award winning musician, is the moderator there and will also answer questions personally. I'm always amazed at how accessible people like that can be. This site's David Mullen is another example. Surely these people have better things to do than answer the same damn questions over and over. All three of them deserve a medal or something.

Marco, thanks for the reference to dv.com. It looks like Jay Rose's books may be well worth reading.

 

Tim, I'm at the reading stage on this subject, not the questioning stage. You run a great site. It's too bad that the audio side is so inactive.
