christian mann
hi everybody, i will be doing a bluescreen scenario using the 7D...! it's gonna be sort of a table top set up: handpuppets on a table. the puppets are about 80cm tall, the table about 2m wide and 1m in depth, i want to light the bluscreen with kinoflos and bluetubes, the keylight will be a Panaura or octadome hanging from the ceiling with some blackout around it to prevent spilling light onto the bluescreen. same goes for the kinoflos: blackout to prevent spilling. 2 rifa exlite 500W as a fill... NOW what would be a safe distance for the table in order to prevend the puppents from creating shadow on the bluescreen. i have about 1,3m....enough? otherwise the fill lights just have to come from a pretty high angle...the keylight wont cause any trouble.. anything else to consider? cheers
Premium Member David Mullen ASC Posted August 4, 2011 Premium Member Share Posted August 4, 2011 Basically you want the blue or green screen as far back as practical for you. Why blue instead of green?
