Kimberly Oehrlein Posted October 10, 2011 Share Posted October 10, 2011 I recently recorded a piece in which I used my Canon EH A1 with my lav mic plugged into my channel 1 input. I have recorded before and had no issues with the set up. Did all my testing the night before making sure everything was working fine as well as tests before starting. Using my headphones plugged into the camera I heard all of the audio, which sounded amazing and had no issues. However, Now that I am home and I am playing back all of my tapes and capturing I notice that my lav audio is not on the tapes and yet instead my on camera mic was recorded. Is there something that I am missing here? So confused at how my camera would hear the audio from the mic and yet not record it. Any advice is welcome and yes I know this is a horrible newbie question but we all have to start somewhere right? Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
