Industry Case Study

Hello everyone.

I am currently on my second year of a ba(hons) film production and cinematography degree course in the UK.

One of our tasks for the second year is to work on a research project on the film industry. I would like to find out everything regarding working in the film industry, in particular, the pathway into becoming a successful director/DoP/camera op. There are many questions that I would like to ask.

I am looking for experienced director/DoP/cameraman, who is able to answer all my questions based on your experience so far working in this industry. It would be brilliant if I can spend with you for about two to three days, just to observe, and ask questions along the way when you have the time to sit down and have a quick chat.

I would be glad to follow you around, just to have a close look on how your daily schedules are, and the working life as a film professional. I am pretty flexible with the dates that you are available, and I could travel within the UK by train, as long as it is not too far away. Timing and location should not be much of a problem for me. Hopefully, you are not too busy to accommodate my presence.

I am placing my hopes on the kind professionals who cares to teach everything they know about the film industry to someone who is enthusiastic and interested in stepping his first foot into the industry.
