Sam Wells
Oooo, man there was a 4 track mag version of "Gimme Shelter" also, pretty nice it was too.. I shot some low budget TV things on 7240, not too bad in direct to video (RCA TK-Twenty something-or-other) -Sam
K Borowski
George, how much VNF do you need? If you don't mind film that's a little old (maybe a few color shifts, but it's been refrigerated) then I'll give you some. I'm doing a big documentary project, but I'm probably not going to use all of the film that my friend Christian Appelt gave me, so if you need a few hundred feet for an effect, then I can help you out. (Nothing ever beats shooting the reel thing, right ;-) ) ~Karl Borowski
GeorgeSelinsky
That's very kind of you Karl, I actually have some frozen still in my freezer for now. It will be just enough I think. Thanks for the thought, - G.

It's unfortunate they didn't seem to bother doing a dolby mix. The last song, Gimme Shelter, was really bad in optical mono, it just totally killed such a powerful and strong ending (and might I add, it's probably my favorite version of the song they ever did live - Mick Taylor and Keith were just amazing). - G. Sam Wells
Sorry you didn't get to hear it, hey you wanna trade ages ? :D Dunno why they couldn't re-do it as Dolby Digital or DTS -Sam
