Why did Kodak give up on that? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> The Digital Cinema Initiatives Committee and SMPTE DC28 Committee both rate "interoperability" as an important aspect of any practical Digital Cinema system, meaning that components from different manufacturers (or even different technologies) should work well together.
