I was at the Santa Barbara Historical Museum today to see an exhibit on a silent era studio there called the Flying A. Look at this poster for "At The Potter's Wheel" -- I love the tagline:

 

"Featuring Sidney Ayres and Vivian Rich... in a tense drama depicting the sting of poverty -- embellished by the highly educational process of making pottery"

Ha ha, could be.

 

I really wish a modern movie maker would have the balls to use old fashioned poster art like this.

I think it would be brilliant for a period piece.
