Unknown effect

Hey guys.

Does anyone know what's this effect's name? Here it's just applied on the picture but I saw it in couple of music videos, it looks really nice.

The scratches and random color fogging are a simulated

film look. In reality, this kind of fogging is usually only

seen at the head or tail of a roll, due to loading and

unloading the camera.

Do you know which Affter Effects/Premiere Pro plugin is doing this?

I would not be surprised if it's a stock effect in Final Cut Pro X or iMovie. Let me know if you find out!

Hi. It's called Film Flash or Film Clutter. There is a lot of stock footage or you can easily make your own in After Effects. There are a few tutorials around such as this:

There are a couple of AE plugins for the flash-frame, dirt and scratches old film look.

 

The picture itself looks like it was processed using a little blur combined with "median" noise reduction. Could be any number of filter plugins though.
