Rick Cook
I have heard good things about that place, though I have not been there myself. I know two people who went. They both mentioned they enjoyed the athmosphere, and how the classes were somewhat collaborative. I believe one of them said he had assisted the workshop in some way in exchange for a free/lower tuiton.
Harper Alexander
I grew up nearby and got my start there as a kid in their "Young Filmmakers" class. I haven't returned since but I sure had a blast! While I can't speak specifically on the programs you've mentioned, I can tell you that they have a really cool atmosphere there and attract some awesome folks from around the world.
