I'm trying to create medical and human cell footage. I'm trying to make the footage resemble cell, bacteria, etc. you would see under a microscope. So far I've used soapy water, seltzer water, and dyed water with oil. All these work but I need more footage. Anybody have suggestions. I'm shooting on 16mm.

This may be of no help at all, but if you want to cheat:

If nothing else, you might use these as reference inspiration.

You what it looks like to me? spliced up gummy bears or disected gummy worms floating at the top of a bowl of water with a very strong, strong light from the camera.

Hello Kev 5000,

Just a suggestion here, I'm a professional photographer of 20 years,student

cinematographer, medical professional for 34 years. In clinical labratories of

hospitals tissue, bacteria etc. are photographed through the microscope. I do

not know how real you want to go. You may be able to get slides from hospt.

and transfer to film for real look. Just a suggestion and good luck with your

production. You are so lucky to be a working DP.
