Looking for Cinematography courses in US

Hello! I am a wildlife photographer & working as a Post Production artist in a reputed Visual effects & animation studio for last couple of years. After taking film post production experience I am planning to learn Cinematography in US. I am looking for one or two years of Cinematography course. So guys can you please recommend me some Film Schools or institutes which are famous for its teaching & jobs placement for cinematography.

Hey thanks Alejandro Gomez. Its true that New York Film Academy has specialized programs for Cinematography but other than this there are hardly any US universities has specialized courses for cinematography.

Me too zeroing on MFA NY Film School,though Toronto Film School also in consideration.

 

I do have my own concerns in stock to worry about :) , being a foreigner to US and coming on F1 (Student Visa) how easy to get settle there after course ?

 

What is the normal course,student do once out of college ? Do they get hired by Production cos, TV studios .. Do they process H1 (Job visa) for them ?

 

Would be glad and obliged if any members can share their experiences from on schools and how they advanced in their life to settle down, post course from these schools.
