Premium Member Kevin Zanit Posted April 10, 2005 Premium Member Share Posted April 10, 2005 I have only played with my gaffers III, but I know they are similar in operation. The switches on the left side of the meter allow you to set the film type (Tungsten A or B, or daylight). The switch on the side of the flat disc receptor allows you to set the meter to high or low light settings. The button on the right side takes the reading. The mode button allows you to toggle through the various modes of the meter (CC, color temperature, etc.). There is also a switch on the right side that allows you to select the meter mode (corded flash, un-corded flash, or manual). Then you essentially just meter the light source as you would take an incident reading. Kevin Zanit
Justin Marx
Thank you! What does holding the film and up and down arrows at the same time do?? Also, what does the LB and CC and K buttons do? Thanks again!
Premium Member Kevin Zanit Posted April 11, 2005 Premium Member Share Posted April 11, 2005 I don?t know about your first question. LB is for "Light balancing" filters and CC is for Color Compensating filters. K is for degrees Kelvin. Kevin Zanit
