Alcan 54 for Eclair NPR setting speed 24 or 25fps

Hello,

 

I was hoping someone might help me determine what the screw orientation needs to be on the elcan 54 motor (Eclair NPR) to ensure 24fps operation? Currently the screws are positioned with a brass screw in the position for 25fps and a plastic one for 24fps.

 

Does this this mean my camera is set for 24 or 25fps when running on a crystal speed setting?

I have same question

 

but perhaps you could help me as well: I get a wild clanking sound when i place that motor on is it because I did not remove all the screws?
