Jana Slamova
Generally, what is the main visual difference between raw image on camera negative and final distribution copy processed through the whole film editing workflow (beside of that the colors are inverted)? Lower contrast and saturation on the camera negative? Some tint?
Premium Member Will Montgomery Posted November 6, 2013 Premium Member Share Posted November 6, 2013 Yes, a print will have more contrast and tint/color changes made by the film colorist. You would work with the lab to achieve the contrast and color you want but higher contrast is generally going to happen.
