16:9 ratio

Does imovie support 16:9 ratio edditing?

 

Does it have such a setting/

no idea whatsover but it should depend on the camera you are using or to be more exact on the method it's using it's either croping or squeezing. In most sony cameras I know it's cropped so when shooting with 16:9 uses smaller part of the ccd in canon GL-2 or XM's it's squeezed and has to be desqueezed during post prod. I don't know this software, so I can't help you with it the best way is to check for yourself
