Matching the weather

Dear Friends,

 

The whole story of this film is happening in a COLD region, with very chill climate and form of mist. Due to budget the producer has decided to shoot the 50% percent of the film in the actual COLD location and the 50% percent of the feature is place which is actually very HOT region and the weather and the temperature is not matching well. What we should do now it is very critical to make it ? We dont have a problem of snow fall but it was full of mist.

We have planned to shoot with the smoke effect for the mist but still it is not matching. Whether we have to put some filters to bring down to that color temperature.
