Are you limiting yourself to music videos? Because that was the impression I got from the reel. Most of the clips seemed to be from music videos and the music & editing kind of gave it that same kind of flow as well.

 

If the non-musical clips I saw were from shorts or features, I would make that distinction more obvious by having longer clips from each project with the title & director superimposed over the image. As it stands now, I don't know how many projects you've done, what genres they've been or whether they're been shorts, music videos, features, documentaries or all of the above. One shouldn't have to go to your website to determine that.

 

Just some suggestions. Otherwise, you have nice images there. Best of luck.

Thanks for the feedback! I have done a lot of gigs for the music industry, but I'd say only about 50% of the shots that I used in the reel are from that line of work.

 

I don't think I've ever seen a reel with such overlayed info, but that's not a bad idea. I shot/directed/edited everything you see (one man band!) - maybe I should just indicate that in the title itself?
