Maxim Ford
Producer I know, he's the guy that asks you rate and then offers you half of it...but what is a Co-Producer? Associate Producer? Executive Producer? It seems i am waiting longer and longer for films to start as we wade through all the producer credits.
Stuart Brereton
Co-Producer is a title that often means nothing. It's a credit to be given away. Associate producer is often given to people who are able to swing deals with equipment or facilities, rather than bringing finance. An Executive producer has nothing to do with physical production, and may have very little to do with the making of the film, but who lends their name and reputation to the movie, or is involved with the production company on a much more general level.
