Okay...lets try this again because I initially thought I was posting a price hike for an older item (hence the deleted post,) but upon further review, it seems this is indeed new.

 

Been quite a while since I've seen any new additions to the Kodak catalog. It's worth noting what's being added, as well:

I bet this has to do with Tarantino shooting "Eight" on 65mm and requiring the stock, for longer load times maybe? Although I'm not sure if the Panavision 65 system has the capacity for 2000ft mags. Could it be for IMAX?

I'm most amazed by the minimum order quantity of 20 rolls thus 40,000 feet! Makes us super 8 guys feel pretty small in the Kodak world. Lol.

Yup...saw that too. It's obvious who their market is Hollywood, but then again, who else shoots 65mm? ;)

Well you also factor in that 400' is only 3.5 minutes of runtime in 65mm 5-perf...over 5x less economical than super 8. Really puts things into perspective.
