Chris Youell Posted May 18, 2005 Share Posted May 18, 2005 I was reading about the new HD camera Sony is putting out in July: http://www.camcorderinfo.com/content/Sony-...i-Camcorder.htm It talks about using a CMOS chip instead of a CCD. I'm not really familiar with CMOS and I don't know what other cameras have it. I was wondering if anyone knows whether CMOS is better than CCD. A HD camera for under $2000 seems very appealing and I was wondering if there was anyone who might offer some advise so I know if I should start saving for this or something else. Thanks.
