Jacques Vincent
Hello cinematographers, I'm a franco-american cinematography student in it's last year of cinematography school in France. I was looking into moving to L.A. this summer to do some internships in a rental house such as Panavision and found out about Panavision Hollywood's 2-year-program. I'm looking to get in touch with some of you that have done this program to get further information about it and to get some reviews about it. Basically the main question I have is, what makes this 2-year-program commitment better than a short-term unpaid internship? What would you recommend for a young, motivated, aspiring to be an AC like me? And what should I expect as a foreign student? (I do have the american nationality though, which is a big plus for compared to the rest of my french colleagues) I really want to go to the U.S. to pursue my dream of working in the film industry and want the best way to get there. If any other things come to your mind about this subject feel free to share with me, anything can help. Thank you in advance, Best regards, Jacques Vincent.
