Miguel Bunster Posted March 28, 2004 Share Posted March 28, 2004 Hi, I will transfer a short film and I have to options, 1) The Quadra transfer (for free) or get into a 2) Turbo which I have seen good results. Are the diferenes big in between this two transfers? I unerstand that the Quadra is based on a CCD chips so the colors et more flat and the latitude compress near blacks and whites. For it's time it was a very sharp telecine that often outperformed any CRT based telecine. If I had to choose between the two on 16mm, I'd probably go for the Quadra over an older CRT.
