Kirk Billingsley
Hello, I am a bit baffled on this one. I took an entire lens structure off of one and put it on a better running super. While I did a total front breakdown of the one 814, there was nothing done in electrical at all. Only in the front of the camera was work going on. The closest I got to anything electrical is when the diaphragm was exposed along with the Meter, exposing the wiring from the cell battery holder to the metering housing I have worked on plenty 814's , more than any super model and I have never heard of this, let alone seen it first hand. The only reason I noticed it initially was that the counter was clicking continuously. Thanks for any return comments. Kirk B
Kirk Billingsley
Nothing? Is there anyone that has more knowledge that I that can answer my question? I understand I am a new poster but does anyone have a comment?
David Cunningham
I have only ever seen this with batteries in backwards... in fact, it's really the only thing that can explain it (or the motor wired backwards by someone).
