Robert Hughes Posted July 1, 2005 Share Posted July 1, 2005 (edited) You can shoot a documentary with this camera, or just about any other functioning camera. DV is only going to look as good as DV, so don't expect HD quality. But if your final product is video it'll do OK. Watch your lighting, focus, white balance and levels and you'll be fine.
