Mathew Collins
I had an opportunity to watch 'Floating Weeds' vy Yasujirô Ozu. Looks like the characters looking directly towards the lens during dialogue? Is this a style of composition by Ozu? Any observations from anyone? Mathew Collins
this is a trademark of ozu's work. What is the perspective behind that composition? Usually character looking to the lens would be followed by a subjective shot?
