Edoardo Comba
Hello everyone. I accidentally left the Wratten (85b) filter on while I was shooting with a Vision 50D in daylight. anyone could tell me what to expect? I am sure that the color temperature will be much warmer with red/yellow/orange overcast over the image. If so, there's any chance that i can slightly correct the "problem" in post prod? i've also used the automatic exposure of the camera and my biggest fear is that the image will look too much dark and underexposed to be used. Anyone with the same experience? Thanks for the attention. Edited September 27, 2018 by Edoardo Comba
Premium Member David Mullen ASC Posted September 27, 2018 Premium Member Share Posted September 27, 2018 If it wasnt an 85ND combo, then the 2/3-stop underexposure is not too bad, I wouldnt worry since the stock is fine-grained to begin with. And the orange cast is correctable, you may feel like youve lot a bit of saturation in the blues.
