rmshkarthik Posted July 19, 2005 Share Posted July 19, 2005 hello every one. i have doubt about take exposure. when we are going to mirror reflection shot, suppose frame contain artist (in mirror)then there is some compostion, in the case 1.wher should i take the reading.and meter facing towards to where.2. i need framing place should be dull ,same time the mirror reflection ,meansthat artist face bright.in this way what i have to do? in lighting,exposure. then i have more doubt about clare.when we seeing through view finder,any accurate tips there for find out clare falling on lens. Premium Member David Mullen ASC Posted July 19, 2005 Premium Member Share Posted July 19, 2005 A normal mirror shouldn't really lose much light, but you can either take an incident meter reading of the light hitting the subject and assume there is no light lost in the mirror, or take a spot meter reading of the subject's reflection in the mirror.
