Marty Hamrick
I'm doing a spoof on a nature documentary similar to the "speghetti tree" farmers film. Most of it is video but I want to simulate some hand crank film circa 1915-25 for the spoof "stock footage".I have a roll of Plus X Reversal ,but I'm afraid that might look too clean and pretty (maybe underexpose and push process?).I'm using an Arri S with a vari speed motor so I'm thinking of shooting at 16 fps and having my AC gradually adjust the speed as I'm shooting between 12 and 18 fps to simulate the uneven exposure and motion speed of old hand cranked films.
