Pan-Arri III Manuals or Documentation

Recommended Posts

I'm going to AC a documentary shot on a Pan-Arri III, and I can't seem to find any information other than the camera's description @ Panavision's site and rental info. I would like to read up on this camera and prepare myself as much as possible; any help would be greatly appreciated.

Pan-Arri 35-III

Much Thanks,

Adrian

Hi Adrian,

I have a "Panavised" IIC and the only things that are different about it are a Pana lens mount, an accessory mount, and a logo on the motor. Everthing else is stock Arri, and works just like a stock IIC. I don't know if the IIIC is the same way, but I think there is a good chance it is. If you have trouble finding a manual specific to that camera I would suggest getting an Arri IIIC manual (which should be easy to find). Good luck.

it's like Andrew says, any 'Panavised' Arri is still an Arri only with a PV lens mount. The most commonly used is the 435, but Panavision also offer other cameras, like the Aaton 35 and the Moviecam SL.
