Adrian Mojica
I'm going to AC a documentary shot on a Pan-Arri III, and I can't seem to find any information other than the camera's description @ Panavision's site and rental info. I would like to read up on this camera and prepare myself as much as possible; any help would be greatly appreciated. Pan-Arri 35-III Much Thanks, Adrian
andrewbuchanan
Hi Adrian, I have a "Panavised" IIC and the only things that are different about it are a Pana lens mount, an accessory mount, and a logo on the motor. Everthing else is stock Arri, and works just like a stock IIC. I don't know if the IIIC is the same way, but I think there is a good chance it is. If you have trouble finding a manual specific to that camera I would suggest getting an Arri IIIC manual (which should be easy to find). Good luck. Premium Member Max Jacoby Posted August 16, 2005 Premium Member Share Posted August 16, 2005 it's like Andrew says, any 'Panavised' Arri is still an Arri only with a PV lens mount. The most commonly used is the 435, but Panavision also offer other cameras, like the Aaton 35 and the Moviecam SL.
