Jacob Frazer
Hi! I got some recent music video footage back from my Canon Auto Zoom 814 shot on Kodak 50D. Most of it looked great, although there were several moments where the exposure jumped rapidly from overexposed to underexposed. This only happened after I changed the light meter battery, so I'm thinking it's an issue with the lightmeter battery, even though it seems to be reading okay. Everything was shot on auto-exposure. I'm wondering if I had shot manual instead if there would have been no issues. Hoping that using different batteries will solve the problem. Any ideas what the source of this issue might be? https://vimeo.com/manage/videos/593556320
Jacob Frazer
My instinct tells me to use the autoexposure reading and then lock it in using manual next time.
