VSU on Arriflex SR2 s16

Hello guys, 

 

I've just received an Arri VSU made for BL and 16SR (1 and 2). I plugged it in my arriflex SR2 s16. The start button on the VSU works, it starts the camera and it seems to roll at the right speed. But when I switch the "switch button" to the variable speed mode. The start button keeps working but it does not change the speed of the camera. I tried several times with several speed options and starting on the camera, on the VSU, removing the battery and stuff... but still rolling at 25 fps. 

 

Any idea where the issue could come from ?
