  1. Hi I was thinking of buying a 3x650W tungsten kit for mostly indoor videointerview situations on different locations. Will this be sufficient? I am thinking of buying this reflectorscreen for diffusing the light. Will this cause too much lightloss due to reflection? I also have the possibility of buying these LED-lights. Will they be a better choice?
  2. Does anyone know if the Canon 8-64mm T2.4 super 16 lens will work on a Panasonic GH3?
  3. Thank you Travis! The light meter, will that be just for measuring lightcontrast, or would you in certain circumstances use it for setting exposure?
  4. Hi I would like to have opinions on how to expose for digital cameras. Do you meter for the right exposure in camera or do you use the histogram and try to get as much detail as possible and adjust the exposure in post?
  5. Thank you for the replies. Since DaVinci Lite will be for free, I will try it out and see how it runs on my 15" MacBook Pro I5. If that doesnt work out, it seems my only option will be Color Finess for PC. Any $20K products are out of my range. How is the Color Finess After Effect plug in vs the standalone software? Are they equally powerfull?
  6. I am currently using Premiere Pro for my cutting on PC. I would like to buy a color grading software and would like to know what options I have. Please give me some recommendations as well. I have used color on mac and liked it, are there any similar software for PC?
  7. Alright, thanks for the answer. I don't really know that much about resolutions. I thought 1080p resolution was 1080p resolution, but apparently not. I saw the Nocturne video, shot on the 1D Mark IV, and was quite impressed by it, so I thought maybe it could be a good substitute for HD cams in the same pricerange.
  8. Hi. I'm just wondering, what's the difference between a Eclair ACL and NPR? I've tried to search for it on the internet, but can't find any good pages dedicated to this camera.
  9. hehe.. yeah, that looks kind of creepy, doesn't it. Well thanks alot guys for all the answers, I'll take alook around the forum and learn some more about different cameras.
  10. Alright... what kind of 16mm would you recomend as a first camera that is suitable for sound recording? What about the Bolex EL 16mm camera, is it any good? Or maybe some other camera? And again, how much should I be looking at paying for a suitable camera?
  11. Hi. I'm planning on buying a Bolex EBM 16mm camera. I am just wondering if this camera makes a lot of noise? Is it possible to record sound while filming with this camera? And also, how much is this camera worth. It's just the camera body, no lens, no batteries, no charger.
