  1. I've aquired some Ektachrome 7251 high speed reversal film and I'm thinking about using this film for a ten minute short. I know high speed films are usually used for sport events and low light situations so I assume the best condition for shooting this film is not in the middle of the day but more likely during dawn and dusk for the best possible results. Am I on the right track here? And what kind of ''look'' can I expect this film to provide? Basically I'm asking if its worth bothering with at all. Thanks. //Jan
  2. I found another lab which process VNF, just want to add it here for future referense: http://www.fordelabs.com/rates_color_rev.htm //Jan
  3. Fortunetly I found atleast one lab ( www.pac-lab.com ) that process this film, I have sent them an email to make sure they can confirm this and when Its replied I'll make sure to post answer in this thread. Thanks once again for the help, John! //Jan
  4. I apreciate your answer John, I feel slightly relieved but unfortunetly I can't seem to locate a lab that process this film, so can anybody be kind enough to point me in the right direction? Thanks once again! //Jan
  5. Hi, I'm new in 16mm filmmaking and I came across two rolls of Kodak Ektachrome 7251(high speed film) for about 51$, I assume this film has been discontinued since I haven't seen it on kodak's website, never the less the film was stored properly in refrigerators since purchase so I assume it'll work great but the one thing I worried about is processing. So here's my question; labs still process this film ? Thanks //Ozzball
  6. Sorry bout that, I'm sure it pisses a lot of Americans off when someone makes that kind of mistake. Anyways thanks for all the help John!
  7. hello, Theres always plenty of 16mm film (400'') negative film valable cheaply on ebay but the problem is that its always in 400'' and my Beaulieu R16 only accepts 100'' so my question is it possible to get the film recut into 4-100'' cans anywhere (prefferably Europe)? //Ozzball
  8. Let me get this straight, those frames you have on your webpage are from your latest picture Devotion which was shot on 16mm film from 1965? I can't believe my eyes, the frames look fantastic!
  9. Nothing to be sorry about! I should have asked earlier :( So it was a fair price after all? That certainly makes me feel better although a handgrip for £16.00 would have been the better way to go.... I think I'll just pretend that, that site you mention isnt legit. Thanks for your post! //ozzball
  10. Ironically I am the winner of that handgrip although I feel sort of ripped off, cause the final price including shipping to sweden went for £51.75... Oh well, I can't shoot film without it >_< Thanks for the reply!
  11. Hello Guys, This is officially my first post, Anyways I bought a Beaulieu R16 (body only) and now Im looking for a handgrip so I can finally start this baby and see how well it works. Where can I find one? Thanks for a great Forum! //Ozzball
