Hello, I'm shooting a short film and the producer's have decided to use the varicam. I've never used it, but have shot with HVX-200. I have heard that it the two cameras are miles apart in regards to menu options. Does anyone have scene file settings that they can show me in regards to shooting during daytime? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I wouldn't buy a used HD-Z1U. You don't know what the camera has gone through -- especially if the heads are bad, the lens is scratched up, the inside of the camera is full of sand, dirt, grime, etc. If I were you, I'd buy a new one at a credible place like b & h.
