  1. Thank you for your feedback! I am still learning how to use the glidecam. It was pretty tough while shooting this though because it was really windy outside, so it made it a lot harder to control the thing. But even if it isn't balanced perfectly, it still helps out a whole lot just because it has the gimble which takes out most of the shakiness.
  2. Paper Dancing you say? Well what is that? That's exactly why there is a documentary about it. you can right-click save as this one (94 megs 720x360) http://www.latenightsnack.com/upload/files...ancing_2000.mov a smaller streaming one (45 mb 480x240) http://riverside.awardspace.com/videos/paper.html and as a last resort, youtube Any comments are greatly appreciated. Sadly, this took a couple of weekends, and poor planning throughout. I've really began to understand the importance of pre-production, because most of this was thought up right before we shot it. We used an sm57 mic, the stock dvx100b, a DIY dolly and a glidecam 2000 pro. As for lighting, we just used natural the whole time. I don't have enough money for lights at the moment. Thanks, Michael
  3. Well, I finally got around to making this. I had actually taken the time to write up a script and actually plan this video out. I just made it and edited today. Shot on a Canon GL1. I only have it uploaded to youtube at the moment. By the way, I'm only fifteen and just getting into all this movie making business, but I really enjoy it. Please tell me what you think about it. I always like constructive criticism. Thanks, Pfista
  4. I have to ask why super 8? Is it because quality? Does this mean that i will have to buy lots of film and such? And how do you get this film on your computer?
  5. Thanks for all of the comments! It's really encouraging me. I've recently just started making videos like this in the past couple of months. I have shown my parents most of my videos and they really like them, but i would most likely have to buy my own camera. I'll definantly look into some of those books. Also, can you give some examples of the super 8mm camera? Because i've been looking around but i don't know which ones are good or not. Thanks
  6. A short about two guys from different agencies after one object. The briefcase, which is help by the VIP person. The inside of the briefcase is unknown, and the objective is to find whats inside. The two agents battle it out to try and reach the briefcase before the other does, but in the end, you don't always get what you want.... Ok, i'm only 15, and it's not like im in film school or anything, and i don't have all the good equipment. Sorry for the lack of story because we were shooting in houston and then my parents made me come home before we could finish shots, and then the other actors had to go so i just tried to tie it in as best as possible. Most is explained above! Please give me comments and suggestions so i can improve. Thanks. that is currently the only link i have. sorry for the quality.
