  1. Just to clarify my question. These are not C-mount lenses as they stand at the moment. What are they?
  2. Thank you for your help. As they are right now, what can the lenses be used with? Also, here is what is written on the lenses: Angenieux Zoom Type 10 x 12 A, F12-120mm Canon Lens TV-16 25mm 1:1.4 Any more info would be helpful. Thank you.
  3. I recently unearthed an older Bolex 16mm reflex 4 camera. These 2 lenses were in the box with it. However, they don't seem to be C-mount lenses. Any help identifying exactly what they can be used with with be greatly appreciated. Thank you. The first is an Angenieux Zoom (what are the gadgets sticking out of it?). The second is a Canon 25mm TV lens. Thanks! -Ben

    Bolex Items

Thank you everyone for your help. Indeed, one of the lenses was a Som Berthiot. The item in the 2nd picture is about 8 inches long. Sorry about the clarity of the pictures --- I was only allowed to post a certain amount of KB, so I had to reduce the quality of the pics. Thank you all again. Ben

    Bolex Items

Hi everyone. Just unearthed a Bolex camera and there are a lot of goodies that I need help identifying. Below are the pictures. Any idea as to what they are? Thanks.
  6. Great! Thanks guys.
  7. Greetings. I have some Bolex camera accessories --- I just have no idea what they are. Any help putting an I.D. and description to these items would be much appreciated. Thank you.

    Bolex jam

Greetings. I recently unearthed a Bolex SBM camera and ran a dummy roll of film through it. The spring motor seemed to work fine, but I found that after threading the camera and engaging the spring motor, after about 7-8 seconds the film loops became rigid, causing the camera to jam. Essentially, the loops were lost. Why is this happening? Thanks in advance.
  9. Thanks for the reply. Would shooting at 30 fps slightly minimize the problem? B
  10. Greetings. I am going to be shooting an old TV that will have a VCR hooked up to it and playing footage I shot with a mini-DV camera (I've transferred the DV footage to VHS...). I will be shooting this TV with a 16mm Bolex Reflex camera. Will I have a problem with raster bars flickering on the TV? How should I meter the TV? Any tips for this situation would be helpful. B
