Hey guys and gals,
I'm in the pre-production stage of a feature I'm shooting entitled "The Search for the Golden Bird" (www.goldenbirdmovie.com,) and just realized that a florescent lighting rig is just beyond our budget. Having used Kino Flos and Soft Lights in just about everything I?ve shot I find it pretty necessary to have a few on set so I decided to build a few. I was wondering if anyone reading this has built one already and has any tips on the ballist, tubes, or anything else that they have found successful in building a flicker-free color reliable light.
